30 Day Blog Challenge: Day One: Goals for the Year

Write your goals for the school year. Be as specific or abstract as you’d like to be!

I categorized my goals into 4 sections (there is no order):

  • Continue to be a resource to ALL STAKEHOLDERS
  • Foster more patience with people who are not Norths (Easts, Wests, Souths)
  • Support team members with data-driven processes

Teacher Goals:
  •   Foster connections to student passions
  •   Use backward mapping template (UbD)
  •   Provide more choice with demos of learning & Partnering (Prensky)
  •   Use student-friendly language for learning targets
Here are the results of my partnering survey with my students:

Parenting Goals (with Savannah):
  • Continue to model expectations
  • ASK for support from my mate
  • Continue to foster the IB Learner Profile

Personal Goals :
  • Use leave when I need it (without guilt)
