This quote has shaped my personal exploration into homelessness, hunger, and poverty. We are looking at this theme through the IB Program and I have changed many of my initial perceptions on the topic. We have engaged in dialogue with people who were formerly and are currently homeless. More recently, we looked at why our district is a food desert.
